Spring/Summer Designer Paper

At work we are having five days of Christmas festivities. We are in groups of six and we are preparing breakfast or lunch or even breakfast and lunch. Needless to say we are going to gain a few pounds but it is fun. Yesterday it was my groups turn to prepare and one of my coworkers mom fixed all of our food down to the dessert. So I thought it would be nice to make here a card using the new Ginger blossom designer paper that will be released on January 2, 2008. I made two cards since and I am going to let the group pick which one to give here.

Xmas Gift Monograms

Happy Holidays To You All:

In my department at work there is over 40 employees and I wanted to be able to give everyone something for the holiday. So, I said why not give them stamped monogrammed cards. The layout is very simple and easy. I was able to get three cards from one sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper. The measurement of the card is 3 1/2 by 4 1/4. I took a picture of three cards to show you that you can place your monogram where ever on the card.

Card Recipe:
Stamp Set: Typeset Alphabet (retiring on December 31)
Ink: Certainly Celery Ink
Cardstock: Ultra White, Certainly Celery, and Certainly Celery Designer Paper
Accessories: Scallop Punch and 1 3/8 circle punch.

These cards can be made to order.

So, if you interested in coming to see how we operate our doors are wide open like open arms.

Each month we have an optional swap and this month swap was a color challenge swap. You needed to choose a color that you don't use that often or perhaps you are just never thought about putting those colors together.

Masculine Card

This is one of my favorite sets Lovely As A Tree. This set is very versatile and can be used to make sympathy cards, masculine cards, and christmas cards. I have also fallen in love with our designer paper. By using the designer paper you don't have to use a background stamp set if you don't want to.

Recipe For Card
Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree and Circle of Friendship
Cardstock-Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and the Wintergreen double sided designer paper.
Ink: Old Olive Marker, Chocolate Chip Marker, and Chocolate Chip
Accessories: 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch & Dimensionals.
Technique: Huffing very easy. The huffing Technique is where you color your stamp set with markers and once you have finish then you huff on the stamp to make the ink moist again and then stamp.

Oatmeal Milk & Honey Basket

Oatmeal Milk & Honey is one of my favorite scents. This basket contains shower gel, lotion, bath pouf and face towel.

Soap Pail

As I stated in my introduction I love creating with my hands. Soap making is another one of my hobbies. I decorated this pail with decorative paper and then packaged my soaps with matching ribbons.
