Target Card Inspired Me

I was inspired to make this card from a Target(pink) card that I bought sometime ago to copy. Well, after months of having the card I decided to make the card this evening. The card is really simple and quick to make and sometimes when designing cards that is all you have time for. Yes, I know I said that I wasn't going to emboss this week but I just had to.

Card Details:

Stamp Set: Sincere Salutations

Ink: Basic Black Craft Ink

Cardstock: Blue Bayou and Wintergreen Designer Paper

Accessories: Heat Tool, Corner Rounder Punch, and Clear Embossing Powder

Color Challenge Swap

Each month my Stamp In Fellowship Group meets the 3rd Sunday of each month and fellowship together. At these meetings we discuss stamping business such as recruits, promotions within our groups, and promotions that Stampin Up is currently having or will have.. My 2nd upline Maili always welcome guest as well other demonstrators from outside of her own downline to come to our meetings. So, if you interested in coming to see how we operate our doors are wide open like open arms.

Each month we have an optional swap and this month swap was a color challenge swap. You needed to choose a color that you don't use that often or perhaps you are just never thought about putting those colors together.

My layout is designed from a weekend sketch challenge #18 created by www.beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com

Masculine Card

This is one of my favorite sets Lovely As A Tree. This set is very versatile and can be used to make sympathy cards, masculine cards, and christmas cards. I have also fallen in love with our designer paper. By using the designer paper you don't have to use a background stamp set if you don't want to.

Recipe For Card
Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree and Circle of Friendship
Cardstock-Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, and the Wintergreen double sided designer paper.
Ink: Old Olive Marker, Chocolate Chip Marker, and Chocolate Chip
Accessories: 1 1/4 circle punch, 1 3/8 circle punch & Dimensionals.
Technique: Huffing very easy. The huffing Technique is where you color your stamp set with markers and once you have finish then you huff on the stamp to make the ink moist again and then stamp.
